I noticed that Microsoft came out with a big security update for windows last week.
Please take the time to backup your important files, then install the updates for your system. ( in the start menu, click All Programs, then select the Windows Update icon at the top of the list )

The easiest way to keep uptodate is to set your computer to automatically download the updates. Go to the Control Panel and select the Automatic Updates icon. There you can choose your update settings.

While you're at it, make sure your anti-virus/anti-spyware is uptodate as well! If you don't have one, I recommend Zone Alarm Pro for firewall/anti-spyware.
